2006 – present

Postdoctoral associate, The University of Minnesota, Department of Chemistry, Advisors: Prof. Donald G. TruhlarProf. Christopher J. Cramer

· Parameterization of continuum solvation models for both water and nonaqueous solvents and for both neutral and ionic solutes using various ab initio techniques

· Computational electrochemistry: theoretical prediction of reduction potentials for solvated species

· Collaboration with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory within the project on computational chemical dynamics

· Maintenance of the research group’s network and servers

· Management of the research group’s office space and facilities

· Coordination of research activities and writing of research proposals for Minnesota Supercomputing Institute

2002 – 2006

Postdoctoral fellow, The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Advisor: Prof. James E. Boggs

· Development of algorithms to describe the nuclear and electronic dynamics in various molecular species complicated by structural flexibility and/or spin-vibronic coupling with emphasis on a variational solution of the corresponding eigen-value problems

· Development and application of computational tools for prediction of biological activity and toxicity: structure-activity relationship, QSAR, ligand-based drug design, pharmacophore identification

· Mentoring students for undergraduate research

· Maintenance of the research group’s computational facilities

· IT support for Austin Symposium on Molecular Structure, local meetings and seminars
